The Production Manager oversees the preparation, cooking, and supervise and coordinate the activities of staff.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the hiring and training of food production personnel
Ensure manufacturing and processing staff wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safety
Maintainaccurate inventory of raw materials and processed food products.
Carryout surveys to identify customer requirements and adjust to meet such needs
Ensureall company regulations and government legislations are adhered to.
Prepareand present periodic reports to update company management on food production operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree study in food science or related field.
Must possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in food processing, finance and accounting, and project management.
Solid working knowledge of the following business enterprise:
HSE/quality regulatory compliance, processing/packaging/warehouse operations, ingredient and package material procurement, production planning and deployment, research and development, and excellent communication, facilitation and influence skills.
