Truck Driver Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Truck Driver to join our team. You will safely and efficiently drive a large commercial vehicle long distances for extended hours. All safety regulations and standards regarding size, weight, and break periods must be followed.

Responsibilities:

The truck driver will be responsible for:

• Planning routes to meet delivery schedules
• Supervising loading and unloading of cargo off truck and ensure cargo is secured
• Following all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standards
• Completing documentation for mileage and cargo; keeping track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses; confirming inventory matches shipping documents
• Refuelling vehicle and checking or replacing oil as needed
• Inspecting truck daily for damage or maintenance problems
• Reporting any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors
• Maintaining vehicle equipment

Requirements/Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have:

• Valid and current Driver’s License
• 2+ years professional driving experience or related work experience
• A clean driving record with no recent moving violations
• Proficiency driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles
• Physically fit physique, be able to sit for long time periods, and perform truck maintenance
• Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator
