We are currently recruiting for the position of graphics manager, specialising in animations.
As a Graphics Manager specializing in animations, you will be responsible for leading and managing the animation team to create visually appealing and engaging animations for various projects. Your role involves overseeing the entire animation production process, from conceptualization to delivery, while ensuring high-quality standards and meeting project deadlines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and project managers, to bring ideas to life through dynamic and captivating animations.
Key Responsibilities:
The graphics manager will be responsible for
– Animation Production Management: Lead and manage the animation team, including animators, motion designers, and 3D artists. Coordinate and prioritize animation projects, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful project completion.
– Animation Design and Conceptualization: Collaborate with stakeholders, such as clients, designers, and creative directors, to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop animation concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments to effectively communicate ideas and meet project goals.
– Animation Creation and Execution: Utilize industry-standard animation software and tools to create high-quality animations. Apply your expertise in character animation, motion graphics, visual effects, and other animation techniques to produce engaging and dynamic visuals.
– Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the animation production process. Review and provide constructive feedback on animation work to ensure adherence to design guidelines, technical specifications, and creative direction.
– Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, writers, and project managers, to ensure alignment and integration of animations with overall project objectives. Effectively communicate animation requirements, timelines, and progress updates to stakeholders.
– Animation Trends and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest animation trends, techniques, and technologies. Continuously explore and implement innovative approaches to animation production, incorporating new tools and processes to enhance efficiency and visual impact.
– Team Development and Mentorship: Foster a collaborative and creative work environment within the animation team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, encouraging their professional growth and skill development.
– Project Coordination and Time Management: Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination, resource allocation, and time management to meet project deadlines. *Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively implement solutions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have:
– Bachelor’s degree in animation, graphic design, or a related field (relevant experience can substitute for formal education).
– Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in animation, including character animation, motion graphics, and visual effects.
– Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, or similar tools.
– In-depth knowledge of animation principles, timing, and storytelling techniques.
– Experience managing a team of animators or leading animation projects.
– Strong creative and conceptualization skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling animations.
– Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
– Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders.
– Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
