Operations Manager Full Time

Our client, a luxury clothing brand, is looking to hire an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department, Ensure safe and efficient operations, Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues, Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looks for opportunities to expand systems, Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.

Job Responsibilities

The operations manager will be responsible for

• Monitoring daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
• Ensuring high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• Completing store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintaining outstanding store condition and merchandising standards
• Following up with client orders to ensure they are delivered to clients promptly
• Ensure that the production of fashion pieces are in line with company standards
• Managing the production of fashion pieces and ensuring that all pieces are produced timely
• Delivering the highest level of professional service to customers
• Managing the flow of bookings and see to the delivery of fashion pieces from start to finish
• Managing budgets and forecasts
• Performing quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Recruiting, training and supervising 20-50 staff
• Finding ways to increase quality of customer service
• Recording daily sales, receive and follow up on payment of all client orders
• Building processes that meet our business objective and ensure compliance
• Recommending and displaying items that match customer needs
• Managing point-of-sale processes
• Being actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
• Keeping up to date with product information
• Monitoring financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability
• Following all companies policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
• Required experience of 3 – 5 years in the fashion industry or related.
• Passion for fashion combined with good customer service skills
• High computer literacy and the capacity to train
• Understanding of retail e-commerce landscape.

Preferred:

Experience working in the luxury fashion industry
Proficiency in industry operations and practices
